For the last 30 years, Chef Sara has been creating healthy, well-balanced and tasty meals. Throughout her career, she has cultivated an approach to food that is simple, natural, and flavorful, inspired by a life spent between Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Eugene, Oregon.

She opened her first restaurant in 1994 in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, and has gone on to open and operate seven more. Her dishes have been lauded by critics and loved by locals in both Cabo and Eugene.

Recently, she rediscovered a love of the outdoors, becoming an avid hiker, camper and backpacker. A desire to bring her own restaurant quality, home-cooked meals on camping trips inspired her to found Luxefly Base Camp.

Her mission is to create meals from the best ingredients available that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime, without compromising on quality and taste.
